The Course of Discourse

In politics, the story isn’t just what’s happening; it’s also how we are told to think about it. The way the narrative is conveyed influences our perception of the past and current realities, what (and who) is visible, remembered, left out, and forgotten. The political discourse is an ongoing, never-ending conversation, with the course often set by those in power, but it is also constantly challenged by those who refuse to remain silent. My name is Omar El Fares, I am a Palestinian-Swedish political science and history student, and this is The Course of the Discourse.
