Which of your companies has taught you the most, and which has been the worst teacher?
PayPal, SpaceX, Tesla, SolarCity, Neuralink, Boring, xAI — each one rewards a different reflex, and some rewards are traps that generalize badly. Ask him to name the environment that made him a better operator and the one that indulged his worst instincts.
How do you know when to fire yourself from a role?
Elon has repeatedly installed himself into functions he doesn't own — manufacturing, software, legal — then handed them off once they stabilize. Ask him for the tell that a domain no longer needs him, and whether the same instinct can misfire when he leaves too early or stays too long.
The bottleneck is never the idea; it's the rate of iteration
Across rockets, cars and batteries, the same pattern repeats: the concept is comparatively easy, the hard part is how many times per week you can build, break and rebuild. This is the connective tissue between SpaceX's early test cadence and Tesla's production ramps, and it's the sort of claim Senra's founders tend to make in retrospect rather than in the moment.
