    Mark's joke rate per minute on stage is probably higher than any current podcast host's, yet he still claims he's lazy

    The guy has released specials, toured endlessly, and done every late night show, but he sells himself as a schlub. That self-deprecating brand is what makes him relatable.

    Mark Normand is one of the last working comedians who treats hecklers like free material

    He never gets angry, he just starts mining the crowd for jokes. That's a skill that separates road dogs from podcasters who only perform for a mic.

    The 'Dad Meat' premise is basically that parenthood is a con job you volunteer for, and Mark somehow avoided it for years

    He's the guy who watches his friends become dads and quietly thanks God he's still doing five shows a night and sleeping till noon. That tension is the whole show.
