Intensity as a signal of conviction
Your loud, physical enthusiasm was treated as an oddity in an industry that prided itself on cool intellect. Can citizens ever hold government accountable with data alone?
USAFacts gives every voter a clear, factual picture of what the government spends and collects. What is the theory of change? If everyone had the same data, would they genuinely converge on better decisions, or do voting identities and narratives always swamp facts?
What would have to be true for USAFacts to fail?
Suppose you put the facts out there for years and political behavior does not change. Would that prove the public doesn't care, or only that data alone can't compete with storytelling? What evidence would make you rethink the whole civic-data approach?
