Sholto is already part of that argument.
When Gavin Baker repeated a claim on All-In about Anthropic wanting to become the only major private company left, Sholto pushed back publicly and said that wasn’t true.
That turned into the same argument All-In keeps circling around anyway: regulation, competition, open models, safety and whether the biggest AI labs are asking for rules that also happen to benefit them.
So get Sholto on. Let him tell the Besties where he thinks they’re wrong. Let them push him on Anthropic’s position. And let everyone hear the disagreement directly instead of another episode of people arguing about what the other side supposedly believes.
